Women’s History Interactive Activity: Featuring Women from Putnam County

• Using the Interactive Map:
  Click the marked “hotspots” to read about different women from Putnam County.
  
• By reading through the biographies, you will:
  – Gain knowledge about local women who impacted Putnam County.
  – Be able to locate the towns and villages that makeup Putnam County.
  
• Graphic Organizer:
  After reading the descriptions, fill out the graphic organizer by listing the names of women who lived in each town.

  – How did these women positively impact their communities?
