Juniper: A Curated History of Gin & Educated Tasting

Two things to celebrate! Join us April 26 to learn about the marvelous story of that favorite cocktail staple: Gin! PHM Board chair Mark Forlow shares his love and knowledge of history and gin, from its origins in the Netherlands and England through its evolution to modern times and production in the local area. We’ll be sampling 4 unique gin cocktails; food will also be served. And the second celebration? A toast (gin, of course) to that Putnam County answer to Paul Revere, Sybil Ludington, who took her famous ride warning of incoming British on April 26, 1777. It is a great combination to welcome spring and PHM’s ongoing celebration of Revolutionary War history. Look forward to seeing you there!
