Glacial cuts and deposits formed the Hudson Highlands millions of years ago, creating a unique and scenic area that would have lasting effects on the humans who inhabit it.

On this History Hike of Little Stony Point in the Hudson Highlands State Park, PHM staff will lead you through a trail with scenic views of the Hudson River, Storm King Mountain, and beyond, while discussing the area’s role in the 1960s Environmental Movement.
